Beautifully crafted cinematic synth, from the French great: Thomas Barrandon. New Born Between Mountain and Sea is an OST like score, melding the familiar and new, into a very complete, wholesome feeling of synth music that inspires and drives. This is one of those records that is easy to get lost in, you put it on - and it begins it's work. Thoughtful and full of grace, a must have for TB fans, as well as those that appreciate post-rock, as there are some melodic tones that ebb toward This Will Destroy You and/or Mogwai.
